Four-star RB Lawrence Cager of Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall – A close friend of Gibson's, Cager recently told cleveland.com that Ohio State is his No. 1 school. Cager (6-foot-5, 202) was supposed to visit for the Virginia Tech game, but he couldn't make it because his father had transportation issues. Cager, though, is planning to officially visit with Gibson for the Michigan game, and he could come to another one in the next month.

    DON'T SLEEP ON CAGER
One of the bigger remaining 2015 offensive targets for the Buckeyes is Towson, Maryland's Lawrence Cager. The 6-foot-5, 202 pound wide receiver visited Rutgers this weekend, and while the Scarlet Knights are one of his final choices, the Buckeyes — along with Alabama — are the two schools at the top of his list. With zero true wide receivers committed for 2015, it's easy to see why Cager is a priority.

"People sleep on Cager, I think, because he's not the 'burner' Urban Meyer is known for recruiting. That doesn't stop Ohio State from making him their top guy left on the board," one source from the DMV said. "They are in a great position with him, and they've let him know that even with other offers that went out recently, he's their top guy."

Cager will visit Ohio State officially when they host Michigan in the regular season finale. The following two weekends will be the greatest threats to their recruitment of him: he'll visit Notre Dame and Alabama on back-to-back weekends. A decision is likely in early January.

    Wide receiver U
Another big target at the wide receiver position is '15 WR Lawrence Cager, and he had a conversation with head coach Urban Meyer on Wednesday.

Cager has always wanted an Ohio State offer and on July 25th, after competing at the annual Friday Night Lights camp, he got that offer. The Calvert Hall (MD) talent has since had the Buckeyes at the top of his list and he is expected to take his official visit to Columbus the weekend of the Michigan game. The four-star Cager is also planning to officially visit Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and Alabama.

This past weekend, Cager was at Rutgers to watch the Scarlet Knights take down the Wolverines. Cager is currently rated as the 388th overall player in the class, the 47th overall player at his position and the 8th best player in the state of Maryland.

    CAGER DEFINITELY STILL THINKING BUCKEYES
After the Sunday commitment of Alex Stump, the Twitter timeline of Maryland wide receiver Lawrence Cager was flooded with conjecture, hypothesis and speculation. The common thread? Now that Stump was a Buckeye, there was no way that Cager would be, or could be, right? Not so fast my friends.

"Everyone thinks I'm not going to consider Ohio State anymore," Cager said with a slight laugh. "I'm not sure why people think they know me more than I do."

Stump told 11W on Saturday, a day before his decision was public, that he had already been reaching out to Cager about the possibility of playing side-by-side at Ohio State. Cager, scheduled to visit Ohio State officially in late November for The Game against Michigan, confirmed.

"Yeah, I talked with Alex a couple times since they offered him," the 6-foot-5 wideout added. "He told me we'd be a great team and that I should join the family at Ohio State soon."
