Lawrence Cager got his offer and names Ohio State his top school – The three-star wide receiver of Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall came to Ohio State hoping to earn a scholarship offer, and he did. Now the Buckeyes are at the top of his scholarship offers list that also consists of Alabama, Kentucky, N.C. State, Oregon State, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin and others. Cager and Gibson are tight and the 6-foot-5, 200-pound wide receiver said the duo has spoken about playing college together. The two schools that Cager and Gibson are both considering are Ohio State and Tennessee.

We need this kid....,we gotta start getting some size at WR.....look at FSU last year, Benjamin was a game changer because of his size, and we desperately need some height in our WR corps

    Cager Uncaged

If Torrance Gibson was the biggest name at Friday Night Lights, the biggest performance may have come from Maryland receiver Lawrence Cager.

Cager (6-5 202) is a three-star prospect per the recruiting services, save for 247Sports which has him as a four-star prospect and the #18 receiver in the 2015 class.

ESPN ranks him as the #110 receiver in the class, and after watching him on Friday, if there are 109 better receivers than him in 2015, then this has to be the greatest class of receivers in human history.

Cager caught everything that was thrown his way and was effortless in the way he ran by defenders during one-on-one drills. He can high-point the ball as well, but he was usually so open that he didn't need to.

His performance on the night finally earned him an Ohio State offer, which was an offer that he had been waiting on. He grew up a Buckeye fan and announced on Twitter on Saturday that like Torrance Gibson, the Buckeyes were on top for him as well.

Cager spent his summer participating in camps and earning offers, including offers from Alabama, Tennessee and Virginia Tech just in the last two weeks. He also participated at The Opening. He didn't run a 40-yard dash, but his 3.94 20-yard shuttle was the fifth-best time at the camp.

If Ohio State can land a commitment from Cager, then they will have finally gotten the tall outside receiver they have been looking for.
