Lol this is far from panic...Just being realistic...Also scUM deserved to be in the top 25...Sure they aren't a very good team and I agree they wont win 10 games this season but they had a lot coming back this year after winning a BCS game (albeit a horrible one at that).

4 of Robinson's top 8 receiving targets from last year are gone including his favorite, Junior Hemingway, and it showed against a defense that had 7 new starters... they also lost two team captains from the O-Line... and Michigan's defense (especially the 2nd and 3rd level) was exposed in all it's flawed misery as Bama moved on them at will. There are teams in the B1G that are going to eat that defense alive... Sparty, ourselves, probably Nebraska as well... and Michigan still has OOC games against Air Force at home (no slouches... they could pull off the upset if they get their ground game going early) and at Notre Dame... not a guaranteed win by any means... They could actually lose 6 games this year... and I would love it if they did  Of course I hated ttun more than can be politely or eloquently expressed so yes I have a bias when I say they don't deserve even being considered a Top 25 caliber team... but I think as the season wears on, that will become painfully obvious to all that thought they were.

Back to our Buckeyes and this Saturday's game with UCF...

I'm not sweating UCF much because we've only seen perhaps a third of the playbook used thus far, and I have a feeling that we won't really start to see most of the special wrinkles in this offense pulled out of the hat until Game 5 when we get into the B1G schedule... and while that may be true, I think we'll see more and more of the playbook each week as it becomes more polished and honed in practices. Plus there is a definite possibility that a couple moves on the depth chart as still to be made in the next couple weeks. The one thing you can be certain of with Meyer and this staff is that each week the best prepared and capable player will be starting... It wouldn't surprise me to see the secondary get shuffled a little, let alone if someone blows a coverage this week they may quickly find themselves sitting on the bench for a few series...

Phil Steele has Ohio State over UCF by a 31-20 score. Buckeyes with a 212-92 rushing edge, which would be impressive. Phil Steele

This will be a close game. I think our D will be tested even more than last week, and will need to get the QB to create some mistakes.

I still think the Buckeyes win, just won't be anywhere near as comfortable as last weekend

Agree...I already told you that the final score will be OSU 38-20.....

That's not a guess, that's the real deal Jobu....

We are supposed to be playing Cincinnati this weekend instead of UCF, but they bailed on us last year....

I like the competition of UCF better, but I do wish that we played Cincy every season....

We almost gave up 20 early in the 1st half last game to a worse team...

I think it will be somewhere in the middle of both your guesses with an outside shot that we hang close to 50 or better on them... if we can get some big plays in the early going to really open up their defense... good night sweetheart, UCF will be down for the count early. I have a feeling the offense, especially the O-Line, will want to go out this week and knock some heads off right away.

How much is UCF getting paid for this game?

Curious because they are not your typical, "direction school" walk over opponent.

Miami threw that ball 54 times in the game against us. The strength of our defense is our run D. UCF ran the ball 46 times in game one. If they keep it on the ground against Big Hank and company, :nono:

My first prediction was 38-17 but after looking further into UCF and what they like to do on offense, plus the fact that they will be missing their top RB, I have changed my prediction.

    41-10 BUCKEYES!!!!

Apparently UCF coach said that their fans are louder than Ohio State fans. He said something along the lines of, they just sit on their hands all game. He said this when asked if he piped in noise at practice to prepare for the game.
