I'm starting to think that we should just not sign a TE in the '15 class...

Hubbard has moved to TE, and we have 2 elite in-state TEs in the 2016 class that I think would both like to be Buckeyes...

    Jake Hausmann and Luke Farrell...

Any 2 of those 3 (including Conrad) and I'd be happy with the TE situation...

Hausmann is the Joey Bosa of TEs....he's a freak of nature...He'll be a rare 5-star TE...

We may also see Noah Brown playing TE in some packages.

Only caught a back half of twitter convo, but sounds like a possible flip if he gets offer

Edit: went back and found start of convo guess he called UK coaches and said he was still UK strong

He's said that but he also mentioned that it was a life long dream to have an Ohio State offer. I highly doubt his dream ended with him getting an offer from Ohio State and he suited up for Kentucky...

I don't think it will take a lot to get him away from UK. I see a kid who felt like Ohio State should have offered him based on what he's done in high school. The Ohio State staff wanted to see him at camp before offering and I think he felt disrespected.

IMO, Ohio State is doing the right thing. EARN your offer! If you don't want to compete for it, go play for a 4-8 team! But if you want to compete, come play for a title contender. Simple as that!

C.J. Conrad leaves without offer – That the four-star tight end of La Grange (Ohio) Keystone was in attendance made it seem like he was going to earn the coveted Ohio State offer and potentially commit to the Buckeyes. But Conrad, a Kentucky commit, left the event without stopping to talk to reporters after leaving empty handed.

Rated by Rivals the No. 7 tight end in the 2015 class, Conrad may have been beaten to the punch by Kansas tight end Josh Moore, a three-star prospect who pledged to the Buckeyes earlier in the evening. There was a thought that the Buckeyes could take two tight ends in this class, but if they were going to, they likely would have offered Conrad.
