I would say chances are very low as he could play in his first year and he knows if he comes and plays behind Pryor there is about .000000001 chance that would happen. From what I hear schools aren't as hyped up on him after he decommited from WVU because from what I am hearing he decommited because his father wasn't allowed to dictate certain aspects in everything from what kind of "part-time job" his son would have to what type of playing time and if he was guaranteed to start next year. When all this happened I guess WVU's staff told him to hit the road. It also doesn't help that when he had committed to WVU they should have went to the national championship and now they are middle of the pack team this year.

    Congrats,ya scooped me on that~~

I would say if it was for the 2010 class we might have a shot, but his fathers interference will turn most schools off and rightfully so.

We have an excellant shot with Tajh at this point. OSU was the first one to contact him after he decommitted. Tajh REALLY likes the buckeyes and will be coming for a visit. What Lane Kiffen did you tajh is simply disrespectful and Tajh had every reason to decommit. Tajh wants to play for a Major program and out of the schools he is considering there is not one better than ours.

And 1 more thing. Tajh does not mind that TP is here. Him and his dad feel it would greatly benefit him to learn behind pryor at first.

I heard Kiffen didn't pull his scholly really. I heard it was more Kiffin called Boyd and told him it was still on the table, but he wasn't sure if Boyd would fit into his offense and he would have no problem if he wanted to check other places out.

Regardless of whether or not Kiffin is wrong on this, I would rather pick up a stud qb every year, so I'm all for it

yeah. we should definitely redshirt him, so when Pryor leaves after his Junior year, Boyd could start as Sophomore! Have we officialy offered him yet cuz scout says yes and rivals says no.

I'd like to get him but I doubt he will. Bill Kurelic doesn't even think he'll come this way.

I'm not sure Pryor will leave after his Junior year, I think for multiple reasons he'd stay for his senior year unless we won a championship game or something.

It may take him his Senior year to prove to the scouts that he can be an NFL QB, and I still kinda doubt that, all throughout his career his passing has been sketchy, we've seen some good days out of him but it's rarely been against a good team.

If he has as good career rushing I think history will tell us he'd enter the NFL as a WR anyway, and if the scouts or w/e told him that he'd probably want to play his senior year.

Pat White - WVU - 4,292 (Will most likely enter draft as a WR)
Brad Smith - Mizzou - 4,289 (WR Jets)
Antwaan Randle El - Indiana - 3,895 (WR Redskins)
Josh Cribbs - Kent St. - 3,670 (WR Browns)

    So who knows.

Your forgetting something else. After this year the players wont make as much as a rookie anymore. So maybe player will start staying their senior season.

Kiffen did NOT call him. Tajh's dad had to put a phone call into Tennessee. Kiffin refursed to talk to him supposedly but an assistant told him like you said that they will honor it but he will not be their man. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Why would he want to still go there. He doesn't have a chance even before he steps one foot on campus. That is bush league to me.

I mean how realistic is it that we get Tajh in this class? Is a top flight QB like him going to want to wait in the background behind Terrelle? How important is early playing time to him?

Part of it is in the last line of buckeye06's story. I will paraphrase a little more. OSU has not offered yet but were the first one to call tajh. His dad said he felt and offer is iminent. His dad said his son feels like he is a national qb and that osu is a national stage.

Also stated he feels OSU is natural fit for him and he has been told he could enroll early. That is something that tajh wants to do. Also states tajh is very serious about this. He has taken 2 of his 5 alloted visits to college and OSU asked him to save one for them.

That's alot of the story. Guess we will have to wait and see. He would be a nice addition.

I know what you are saying. That wasn't anything towards you at all. I hope you didn't take it that way. Ofcourse kiffen is going to say he called him. From the articles I see the 2 days before Tajh was very excited about the kiffen hiring. It is a shame kiffen did this.

All this time I thought that Al Davis was the bad guy & Lane Kiffin got screwed. I guess I was wrong.

I still think Al Davis is a problem haha. Kiffin wasn't the first guy who got the boot there because of him.

No offense taken of course fireman. Just conflicting stories and you know how those are; one site says this, another article says that.....just hard to know what to believe.

I'm all for Boyd, except I would rather not have any small QB's if we can avoid it. I mean 6' isn't short, but I hope for 6'2'' or taller
