Decker is playing poorly most of the game.

Not sure he is the answer but we may not have a choice.

Reeves drops an opportunity for his first INT.

Not a big loss for the team though, would have just amounted to an Arm Punt.

He didn’t look bad on the 2nd and 3rd series. Outside of that, yeah, he’s played poorly.

Oh man, Philly landed on the ball. That does not look comfortable. Way to sacrifice your body though.

These penalties really kill the momentum and tempo of the game!

    30-13

    Halftime.

I would grade this half as a C+

Great 1st quarter. Terrible 2nd quarter.

    Alright. First half thoughts.

This team is certainly capable of dominating.

But they are also capable of underachieving due to lacking a focus on the fundamentals and lacking a sense of urgency.

23-0 before anyone can blink is exhilarating. Great first half. Not so great second half.

Braxton is an excellent passer. Period. Perfect? No. But excellent. I was very impressed with some of the little things, like the ball placement on the throw to Devin Smith and another throw to Chris Fields later.

Jordan Hall, who knew? Carlos Hyde is going to ride the bench this season. Period. 3 Game suspension, but 0 starts in any case. He may have screwed himself with his off the field issues, but with what I'm seeing from Hall today, I'm not so certain that he would have kept the job in camp anyway.

Dontre. Freaking. Wilson. Oh my. His first touch was electric. Like when I bite into a hot pepper, I stood up and went "WHOOOOAH!!!!". Got to take care of the ball, though.

And the linebackers are the linebackers we thought they would be. I haven't seen Perry on the field at all? Either he hasn't been out there, or he hasn't contributed. Grant has looked bad. And cramps better be the full story for Shazier.

O-Line: opening great holes for the running game, but shaky in pass protection, particlarly Decker.

Lots of things that need to improve over the next few weeks.

LBer play is a concern. Hopefully it's just cramps for Shazier as we can't afford to lose him.

Oline play was bad in the 2nd qtr. Decker has to improve upon that qtr.

Definitely. We need the return of the Matt Wilhelms, A.J. Hawks and Andy Katzenmoyers. Ryan Shazier is our best LB right now, but I really put him down as an Anthony Schlegel... at least for now. Good, but not the kind of disruptive force that we need.

Book it now: Khalil Mack will play on Sunday. He's playing at that level right now.

Very pleased with Hall's performance in the 1st half. I hope we see more of the same in the 2nd.

We get the ball first so I want to see us put together another drive and score a TD to set the tone for the 2nd half.

We need our oline to correct their mistakes and I want to see a sounder defensive game... sacks, force turnovers, and don't allow any more points.

Let's put this game out of reach early.
