Nate Craig Back from the Swamp.............At 6-foot-3 and more than 200-pounds, wide receiver Nate Craig is one of the most sought after offensive players in the country. Did I mention he is in the class of 2016? Craig could find himself playing on either side of the ball at the collegiate level.

2016 star Nate Craig close to a decision

Tampa (FL) Catholic wide receiver Nate Craig is one of the best players in the 2016 recruiting class. He boasts offers from the likes of Ohio State, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Ole Miss, and many others.

Yesterday he tweeted that he was ready to commit, but wanted to take some visits to make sure he was 100% sure on any potential college decision.

He told me that he would like to visit Ohio State, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, Florida, Miami, and a couple of other schools before finalizing a decision. After taking visits, he would like to make a college announcement sometime this summer.

Craig is hearing the most from Auburn, Ohio State, and Tennessee as things currently stand. Last month he told me that he's very open to leaving the state of Florida to play his college football saying, "I would rather stay away from home for college because it's a distraction."

We'll keep you up to date on Craig's recruitment and any potential visits when more news becomes available regarding the standout wide receiver. I think the Buckeyes have a pretty good chance here.

#92 Nate Craig (6-2 195) WR Tampa, FL
Craig is one of the top receivers in the nation. He has offers from OSU, Auburn, Florida, Clemson and Florida State. Some consider Ohio State the team to beat.

Craig familiar with UGA..............Tampa Catholic 2016 athlete Nate Craig admits he wasn't really thinking about getting an offer from UGA. But that doesn't mean he's not familiar with the Bulldogs.

Nation's Top 2016 Receiver Has OSU on Top

Earlier in the week 247Sports reported that 2016 receiver Nate Craig (6-3 205) from Tampa Catholic had named Ohio State as his leader. Craig is rated a five-star prospect and the #1 receiver overall by Scout. But that is not a consensus ranking, as 247Sports has him as the #19 receiver.

If you were to look at his offers, however, you would see a five-star offer sheet. Along with the Buckeyes, he has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Clemson, Florida, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Michigan.

He does want to make visits this summer, including one to Columbus. Buckeye fans shouldn't get too excited about being the "favorite", because exactly a month prior to naming Ohio State his leader, he did the same with Auburn.

    Nate Craig (Uncommitted) Tampa, Florida
    Rivals NR Athlete
    Scout ☆☆☆☆☆ #1 Wide Receiver
    247Sports ☆☆☆☆ #19 Wide Receiver
    ESPN NR

Wide Receiver Craig (6-3 205) will be one of the top receivers in the 2016 class, and has recently named Ohio State as his leader. Of course, he has also said the same of Auburn. Alabama is also in the mix. The Buckeyes certainly have a shot here, and right now most think OSU leads. He's a big target who is able to get yards after the catch. He can also go up and over defenders. He is rated the #8 player overall in 2016 per Scout.
