Game 1: #6 Ohio State 77, Bowling Green 10 (Final)

The last time we played BG, Troy Smith was dropping bombs to Teddy.

 

Bowling Green had a legit offense last season. They went 10-4.

Their lowest score was 27 in their bowl game, scored 40+ eight times.

Ohio State's lowest scores were 14 and 20, scored 40+ only five times.

 

BG lost alot though, especially on offense. OSU by 35

 

They also won the MAC championship.

 

Doesn't Block O like up in that neck of the woods?

 

I really think this will be a team to shock casual fans who dont fully understand the recruiting Meyer and staff has done

 

I'm with you. This team will be much more fun to watch than last year's under-achieving 12-1 team. I hope @Arapahoe unblocks Code for a day or two after this team does not finish 8-4 like he predicted..."No way you can lose 16 starters and not fall off dramatically!"

 

I hope you're right, but I'll believe it when I see it. Having JT back will help keep this from being a huge fall off, but I still view it as a rebuilding year. Still, for a rebuilding year, I'm thinking upwards of 11-2 or bust. This is The Ohio State University, and we do have standards, you know.

 

Yep, this team is going to be fun to watch. A bunch of extremely talented youngsters waiting to cut their teeth. We will have some bumps and bruises going through this year (Norman week 3 will be interesting), but I don't think anyone will want to play us mid-season and on. Think about last year and how awful the offense was, there is no way it will be that bad again with JT at the helm full time.

 

I'm thinking something along the line of 42-21 right now
