WOW!
I had never even heard Woody talk before that. I'd only seen still photos, mostly black & white. That was awesome. No wonder he had such a program. I was ready flush my pot down the toilet and grab a helmet and hit the field after watching that.
Whatabadass!

Phatty, it takes an exceptional coach, hell, an exceptional man to build a program like Ohio State. Woody was both, though I doubt he'd ever admit that.

LOL I don't know but the narrator sounds like a cheeky fellow
I know this is a non-political board but I have to admit Woody and Tress were easy to love because they were/are Conservatives

LOL.... yeah to wax more philosophical, I think the notions of competing to win and running business to turn a profit are both seen as inherently evil - at least by "liberals". I think that's utter bullshit. It's a simple existential reality that teams compete to win and businesses exist to make money. Sure they ought to do so within the rules of fair play and as good sportsmen, but it doesn't change the fundamental goal and purpose of their existence. /rant

For sure... wasn't trying to be political, just trying to praise the legend and his Win or Else attitude and lamenting that it's something our society has lost.
