I was at the Illinois game. I was in 8th grade and I remember it getting so cold once the sun went down. I also remember an Illinois player getting badly hurt and getting taken off the field in an ambulance. Other than that it was great witnessing history!

Yeah, the weather was terrible. I remember getting a strange snow/rain mix that was at one point going down into the stadium and rising back up.

Joe Montgomery (our backup RB) also got hurt real bad in that game

That is a good question. I often wonder what happened to certain players that never pan out in the NFL. Hopefully he put his degree to good use.

Eddie George was an absolute beast, I love watching highlights of him run. He could run through you, or he could run past you.

Every time I watched Beanie Wells run, it made me think of Eddie George.
