Dukes grew up loving Michigan.................Junior wide receiver Jaron Dukes is not your average Ohio native. Despite growing up in Columbus - in the shadow of Ohio State - he was a fan of their bitter rival as a child. He visited Ann Arbor yesterday.

Committed to SCum, supposedly. Never got a sniff from tOSU? Based on what I know, I would take North, Gibson or Foster over him anyday!

SCum fans are going nuts saying "all these kids from Ohio want to come here." I am explaining to them that Butt, Carlton and this kid are not elite players.

The 2013 class is deep and talented............there will be Ohio kids going to other Big Ten schools.........
Dukes was not going to get an offer from OSU............
Let Michigan fans feel good...........come November they will feel bad.

This is what the response was when I mentioned that none of these kids would get an offer from tOSU!
We do go after and get good players from Ohio: Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, Ricky Powers, Fitz Touissant, Mario Manningham, Tom Strobel, Jim Harbaugh...Jeff DelVerne. Pretty elite group. It's interesting: it always seems like UM has a... good and steady representation of Ohio players, tO$U doesn't. And they are only "elite" if they pan out in their college careers. Pryor was the "next big thing" and was a recruiting circus, I'm glad he didn't bring his drama and shadiness to Ann Arbor and we developed Denard. The 8 they just signed last weekend tells me players want to play at UM, want to play for Hoke and are jumping on board quicker than any other program. Talk to me after Meyer has done something with that corrupt program down there.
