Pregame Glance: Miami (OH)
December 21, 2011, by Joe Dexter

The Ohio State Buckeyes continue their battle with flying mascots and with non-conference play on Thursday against those RedHawks of Miami…of Ohio. It’s been an up and down year for this MAC squad. They’ve beat some very tough competition including in state opponent Dayton and a top notch Belmont team.
But fresh off a 77-75 loss to Evansville on Tuesday, that saw the Aces put together a 16-2 run to start the 4th and a 7-0 run to cap the game — there is a lot to prove and improve on for head coach Charlie Coles’ squad.

I went to school with Jon Harris, the starting forward for the Redhawks. Dude always could ball, and never seemed to stop growing

Damn! Traveling 2500 miles to come watch the Bucks take on Miami (OH)? You really are a fan!
I just found out about an hour ago that I've got 2 free tickets for the Northwestern game next Wednesday. It's a 5:30 game for some reason on a weekday night with a lot of the students home for the holidays. That's probably why I'm getting the free tickets, but I'll take em.

Actually Phatty, I forgot to mention that my parents moved back to Ohio (Tiffin area) in October. So now I come to Ohio for my holiday breaks. So its more of just a 2 hour drive, but yes I did travel 2500 miles for this
First Buckeye basketball game in a long time. Can't wait!
