Default Manny Ramirez

Don't get me wrong. I hate the Red Sox. But is Manny Ramirez not one of the best hitters in the game right now? Especially in the post season, he hits everything.

I'm no Red Sox fan either, but I do know a ton of friends that live or are from the Boston area and are currently unbearably giddy over their pro sports teams... :)

IMO Manny gets a bad rap for some of the things he says that the media blows out of proportion. Granted he's probably not the smartest guy in the world but he seems like a good guy to have a beer with.

I know a lot of Tribe fans hate his guts because he used to play for the Injuns and left. I thought he was one of the best hitters back when he played for the Tribe and nothing he has done since being a Red Sox has changed my opinion of that. As the TV guys have already stated countless times during the ALCS and World Series, Manny is arguably one of the best hitters in the game with 2 strikes. Being down 2 strikes in the count just does not faze him, sure he will strike out every now and then but I'll take my chances with him doing something positive when put in that position.

Manny is the most disapline(spelling) hitter in the game... he does not swing at junk and with 2 strikes on him he is more dangerous..

He is clutch when it counts. Not a huge fan of him but he is good.
