He was given praise by Mark Porter and Duane Long and I believe he was in a Bucknuts Bucket somewhere as a recruit the Buckeyes would eventually extend an offer to. Seeing as how these might be difficult times to pick up out of state recruits, it was a good decision.

Don't get caught up in who else offered this kid or what his star ranking is. I could point out MANY great Buckeye players who never had a hot offer sheet or 5 stars.

OT - Kyle Kalis RB - Briante Dunn RB - Warren Ball LB - Josh Perry QB - Cardale Jones That's the type of players that you get early on in class and then fill needs later with the other guys IMO. |

Well maybe with pending sanctions and the worry of not getting some top talent. Maybe the staff thought let's get some kids that can play-might not be the best or a 4* and 5*-stop the bleeding and be prepared for the future.
