Damn it would have been nice for Buffalo to get this young man. They need as many good players as possible

He was given praise by Mark Porter and Duane Long and I believe he was in a Bucknuts Bucket somewhere as a recruit the Buckeyes would eventually extend an offer to. Seeing as how these might be difficult times to pick up out of state recruits, it was a good decision.

Don't get caught up in who else offered this kid or what his star ranking is. I could point out MANY great Buckeye players who never had a hot offer sheet or 5 stars.

Hell, Malcolm Jenkins best offer other than OSU was Rutgers, & that was because he was from Jersey.
I don't have a problem with this kid, I think he has a lot of potential. It's the commitment of Jacoby Boren, Epitropalous, & Blake Thomas that confuse me. With limited schollies to offer, they should be patient and try to get the best kids possible - I know they are trying, but they're gonna run out of schollies with atleast half of the top10 in-state recruits still out there.
They could've probably got any of those 3 I mentioned along with Najee Murray and Tyvis Powell later in the process after they nail down the top players.
Slam Dunks.......
OT - Kyle Kalis
RB - Briante Dunn
RB - Warren Ball
LB - Josh Perry
QB - Cardale Jones
That's the type of players that you get early on in class and then fill needs later with the other guys IMO.

Well maybe with pending sanctions and the worry of not getting some top talent. Maybe the staff thought let's get some kids that can play-might not be the best or a 4* and 5*-stop the bleeding and be prepared for the future.
