Anybody that can come right into varsity and average 10.5 rebounds as a freshman is a baller! At 6'6" (as a freshman) it's not like he was towering over everybody else on the court. You have to be a hustler to grab that many boards when you are under-developed physically out in the court. It's too bad we don't have more schollies available, there's a lot of good looking prospects out there but we can only take so many. It makes you wonder what in the hell Jim O'Brian was doing all those years! What was his best recruit? In-stater= Jamar Butler or Terrence Dials? Thad Matta is tha man!!!!!!

Players to watch
Devin Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio/Withrow)
2013, PF, 6-7, 225 pounds | Team: Ohio Basketball Club
College: Undecided
He is a powerful player in the paint who is a very good rebounder. Williams has really worked to improve offensively and has a developing face-up game. He has solid hands which help him clean the glass in the paint. He is now a decent face-up shooter to 15 feet who can put the ball on the floor some and get to the cup inside 12 feet. He is developing into one of the best power forward prospects in the 2013 class.

By Ed Owens
The Dominion Post, Morgantown, W.Va.
(MCT)
July 15--Devin Williams is at least two years away from potentially suiting up for the WVU men's basketball team. But for Williams, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward preparing to enter his junior year at Withrow H i g h School in Cincinnati, playing for the Mountaineers is a distinct possibility.
"I like West Virginia a lot," Williams said Thursday, following his Ohio Basketball Club 16-U team's opening game at Jam Fest. "The last time I was up here, I got to talk to 1/8WVU head coach Bob Huggins3/8 and I liked him. He's down-toearth and he's going to tell it like it is: He doesn't beat around the bush. And I believe that they've developed a lot of players here, too."
In the early stages of the game, WVU is on Williams' list. But it's a list that seems to be growing by the second.
"I know who's interested 1/8in me3/8 but I can't just name them all off the top of my head," Williams said. "There are so many right now. It feels good. But just because I'm getting offers doesn't mean that I can stop working."
Cincinnati, Dayton, Illinois and Tennessee have made him offers already and scouts from James Madison, Akron, Wisconsin, Seton Hall, Toledo, Davidson and Ohio University were all on hand to watch Williams and the Ohio Basketball Club take on Team Finesse on Thursday afternoon. Those schools join Ohio State, Arizona, Michigan State, DePaul, Indiana, Xavier, Iowa, UCLA and Wake Forest as programs that have shown interest.
"Most every Big Ten school is showing interest," Ohio Basketball Club coach Michael Duncan said. "So is Kentucky, and Tennessee."
But there's still hope.
