“We felt (Jalin) Marshall was the guy that made Middletown roll,” he continued. “Our defense has done a good job all year of taking that guy away from teams and they really stepped up tonight.”
Marshall, the Middies’ sophomore quarterback who rushed for 1,405 yards and 17 touchdowns and threw for 659 yards and 12 touchdowns in the regular season, was limited to 21 yards rushing and 34 yards passing.

Is Marshall Ohio’s No. 1 Soph?......................Marshall indicates Ohio State is his leader and he is not concerned about Braxton Miller being on campus. Marshall enjoyed his visit for the Michigan game.

Several schools interested in Marshall
Posted by mdyer 12/02/10, 9:31 am
As this blog reported Wednesday, Alabama and Ohio State were at Middletown on Wednesday, according to Middletown coach Jason Krause.
Ohio State tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator John Peterson and Alabama assistant head coach/linebackers coach Sal Sunseri were at the school. Both college programs are showing interest in Middletown sophomore QB Jalin Marshall.
Krause said in an e-mail this morning that Florida, South Carolina, Nebraska, Northwestern and West Virginia are also among other schools showing interest.
Marshall already has offers from UC and Pittsburgh.
