Roby: ‘I might visit Ohio State…’..............Roby has high interest in tOSU and is rethinking his verbal to Vandy. tOSU is recruiting him as a defensive back. Roby is unsure at this time if he will visit tOSU. Has official visits scheduled to Auburn and Vandy in January.

Roby to visit Ohio State and Auburn

Athlete Bradley Roby (Suwanee, Ga./Peachtree Ridge) is still committed to Vanderbilt, but is considering two other programs and will make official visits to each.
The 6-foot, 170-pound speedster will visit Ohio State and Auburn officially in January, along with the Commodores. The Vanderbilt visit is scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 15. Either the Tigers or Buckeyes will be on Jan. 8 and the other later.
"Both Ohio State and Auburn want me to come in the first weekend in January, so I will have to decide that," Roby said.
The recent offer from the Buckeyes isn't the first time Ohio State has come in on a prospect from Peachtree Ridge. Defensive tackle Cameron Heyward signed with Ohio State in the Class of 2007 out of the school.
"He wants me to come to Ohio State," Roby said. "If I did end up going there, it would be nice to have someone there from my school that I already know."
The Buckeyes and Tigers want Roby as a cornerback. Ohio State also wants him to return punts and kickoffs. Vanderbilt likes him strictly as a wide receiver.
"Ohio State is definitely No. 2 and then Auburn," he said.
Roby committed early to the Commodores. What factors will he consider before contemplating a switch?
"I am going to look at how well I bond with the current players," he said. "I went to Vanderbilt several times during the summer and spent time with their players. I felt like I really fit into their program and their system, so I went ahead and committed. I had not visited any other schools that I felt that way when I was around the players. If I like it and like the other schools in that way, then I will consider switching."
Roby is the nation's No. 37 athlete and is rated as a high three star prospect (overall grade of 78) by Scouts Inc.
