Buckeye Baseball
How is the baseball team looking this year? I'm going to attend as many home games as I can this season.

In the late 90's and early 2000's they were one of the better if not the best team in the Big10. They have made a few runs in the national tournament as well. Nick Swisher ring a bell?

Actually I didn't know Swisher was a Buckeye. Like I said, I don't follow the baseball team as much as I do with Football and Basketball.

OSU is one of the better teams in the Big10 pretty much every year, but unfortunately that's not saying much. The college baseball season starts early in the year and if any of you played baseball in high school here in Ohio you'll know the weather sucks for baseball in the early spring time. Hence why OSU and a lot of other Midwest/East Coast teams play in a lot of early-season tournaments down south and/or out west.
I love OSU, but if I could have gone anywhere I wanted for baseball it would've been either Miami (FL) or Cal State Fullerton.

I've never been to a Buckeye baseball game but I'd like to go to one this year.

Bill Davis Stadium was voted by Baseball America magazine a few years back as one of the top 10 best college baseball stadiums in America. It is one of the many top-notch facilities on the OSU campus.

I've never been to a Buckeye baseball game either but I'd like to go to one in the future too.
WOW I didn't know they had that great of a field but that doesn't suprise me with all the money and awesome facilities the other Ohio State sports have here.

Yeah a huge advantage to southern and westcoast teams simply due to weather. Its a shame college baseball isnt more popular, its just that there are no real stars like in CFB and CB
