Post Thanks: Opportunity to say thanks
Ever want to reward users who are particularly helpful to others, but you are never around to notice in time? Well with the post thank you hack addon you can.
I've added a fun little feature to the forums and I think it will encourage not only more posting but more useful posts. I know there are some of you out there who do not post very often but you come across a post and you find it very useful and helpful. You want to be able to say thanks for the contribution but may not want to do so in a post. In this little addition you can click "Thanks" on the bottom right of each persons post and they will be thanked, by you. It's a way to recognize someone for their helpfulness. So now, post counts don't mean nearly as much, post thanks will take more meaning because the more you have the more people respect your contributions.
This addition is also tied in with the credits system. For every time someone thanks you, you receive 50 credits. So, again, it's an incentive to provide quality posts for everyone.
Have fun!

This is coming from a buckeye brotha (you Block 'O') that very rarely gives out a thanks! You have thanked 194 times and been thanked 538 times! You're not that good gangsta!
By the way Block, thanks for thanking me twice already today. I notice each and every time I get 'thanked' - I keep an eye out on that.
