'09 PA RB (RS SR) - Jordan Hall

Jordan Hall (Jeannette, PA)
HT: 5-9
WT: 185
40: 4.5
Pos: RB
Pos Rank: #34
Pos Rating: ****
Schools of Interest:
- Ohio State (Verbal: 4/21/08)
- Indiana (No Offer)
- Michigan
- Notre Dame
- Pittsburgh
- Penn State
- West Virginia (No Offer)
----------------
Ok, now that TP is officially part of the Buckeye family, what are the chances we bring in his sidekick RB Jordan Hall in 09? I know we have a plethora but RB is a position you want to take 1 or 2 a year since some don't pan out and others get injured or move positions. Anyone know a lot about this guy?

I think he is tOSU bound, but I don't really want him. I hate to say that about a HS player, especially one who really likes Ohio State, but like you said we have a lot of very good RB's and we're bound to get the attention of many elite RB's in the country now that Pryor is officially a Buckeye. I haven't seen his film yet, but I've heard and read from people who have seen him play and they say he is another Maurice Wells. Hopefully he pans out if he does go to tOSU.

Nothing agains Mo Wells, but hopefully Hall can pan out to be a better player than him.

Maurice Wells would be a starting RB for 90% of the country, but he's just not the top quality back we want to bring in more of.

I think we'll get to see how he does pretty much as the go to guy in the offense next year. He'll have a new qb who more than likely won't be as good as TP (if he is then we need to get that in with the school.) When he has to carry the load we'll see what he's made of

I like Mo Wells, I think he's a nice compliment to Beanie and Saine. Obviously we pride ourselves with pounding the rock most of the time, but it's nice to have a chance of pace back also

He isn't a Big10 RB. I agree he could start at a lot of other places, but he isn't the type of back that's needed to maintain a good running game in the Big10.

the biggest thing that annoys me about mo wells is the usually the first guy to him he's down. he would be great in a spread offense. but in a I formation he's not all that great.

Couldn't agree more. I'm sure he'd be great in other offenses, but not ours.

He would be perfect in a Dick Rod system.
