ESPN's obsession with the financial side of the Heisman
I always like to pay attention to the media and the angles they take on certain stories and how they frame the issue. Recently ESPN hasn't really talked about who could win it next year, but they have had numerous segments on the financial side of the Heisman and in particular the marketing of "Johnny Football". What is your take, is this their way of starting a debate on possibly paying the players?

I honestly do not think we are far from seeing players paid. I think it's a shame when people say athletes get no fair treatment. They get free school, Tudors, free meals. The education they could receive is worth more than players think. I hate when people say its not fair they don't get money to go on dates and such. You are here for school and football. Not to mention when you make a bowl look at the gifts they recieve. Hell one bowl gave each player a $450 best buy shopping spree

I think you're reading too much into it. I don't think that ESPN's goal is to get college athletes a paycheck.
