I'm curious to see what kind of minutes Laquinton Ross gets tomorrow night...
If he plays like he's been lately, and scores about 14-18 points, he'll be the 2nd leading scorer on our team for the season and he's doing it in under 20 mpg...
He's really having a season so far similar to Deshaun's freshman season...
It will be interesting to see how it shaks out..
Matta loves to have Sam Thompson on the floor, but it's hard to get Q minutes with Sam out their, unless Deshaun is taking a breather...
Q could grab a few of Lenzelle's minutes too, but Thad seems real comfortable with Lenzelle too...
We have a very legit 8-man rotation..
With a roster like this, I see no reason to have any player average over 32 minutes. Especially the way that Shannon Scott is playing. He's actually out-played Craft to this point in the early season...
I love the 8-man rotation..

Buckeyes Avoid Finals Hangover, Rout Savannah State
By Brandon Castel
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Finals are done and so is Savannah State.
Ohio State head coach Thad Matta wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from his team coming off the first final exams since the University switched from academic quarters to semesters this fall.
The Buckeyes passed the test; at least the one on the court Wednesday night. They’ll have to wait and see about their scores in the classroom, but Matta’s players showed focus and determination during an altogether comfortable 85-45 win over visiting Savannah State University (5-5).
“We said, ‘Hey, can we get 75 on this team,’ ” Matta said after the game.
“That was kind of the battle cry. I thought that was a legitimate request. I thought they did a pretty good job of understanding. Guys were out there early and ready to go.”
Preseason All-American Deshaun Thomas played like one in the first half, outscoring the Tigers 21-18 all by himself. He went inside, he went outside and he found the touch that makes him one of the most dangerous scorers in the country.
Thomas was 8-of-15 from the floor and 4-of-6 from behind the arc in the first half. He also grabbed five rebounds as the Buckeyes raced out to a 42-18 halftime lead.
