'12-'13 OSU Offseason Transfers
Rumors are already starting...
First man up....Cardale Jones..
I really hate to throw his name out there if these rumors aren't true, but the rumor is that he is looking at Toledo, which was originally in his final 2, along with OSU coming out of Glenville..
I really like this kid and would hate to see him go "play school" anywhere else...

I don't think it would be much of a loss. Miller and Guiton are both better and J.T. Barrett is the real deal.

I think he could be great in our offense...
And he's huge..about 6'6"/240 and has a cannon for an arm...
Cam Newton Jr.....maybe I got a little carried away, but I like his skillz...
Top25 QB coming out of HS and had a lot of SEC offers including LSU, along with Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa, etc...West Virgina....
I think he'd be a big loss...

Nothing like Cam. More like Jamarcus Russell, which explauns the LSU offer.
When's the last time LSU produced a good QB. Never was sold on Cardale.

LOL I agree, just because he conned the NFL and signed big contract off the strength of 1 game doesn't make him 'good'. WOuldn't he have beaten out Russell Wilson if this were true?

I never called him John Elway. He won a National Championship (4 TDs on a Buckeye team that had allowed more than two only one other time) and is on an NFL roster. He also had one of the all-time greatest (statistical) games in Lambeau history.
He's good.
Look at the context of the point. "When's the last time LSU produced a good QB." Hell, Jemarcus Russell was good too. He was an excellent quarterback his junior season. I bet you'd be hard pressed to name 15 programs with better success at QB over the last ten years than LSU has had.
My point isn't that LSU QBs are better than USC QBs, my point is that to say that Cardalle isn't good because LSU recruited him his nonsensical.
