Head Coach Vacancies
I thought that I'd make a thread to discuss all of the head coach openings that are coming due to firings and/or resignations. Here's a list of schools that already have let go their head coaches:
Kentucky
Tennessee
Arkansas
North Carolina State
Purdue
UTEP
Boston College
Cal
Colorado
Idaho
Auburn
Rumor has it that Gary Pinkel is going to resign at Missouri, he was against moving to the SEC. I can also see Al Golden jumping off of the sinking ship at Miami, they're gonna get hammered when the NCAA finishes their investigation. A booster paying for abortions for players? Buying them hookers? They need the death penalty.

If Pinkel does resign, there will be five openings in the SEC! FIVE!

What is wrong with Colorado? They have been beyond awful since that sex-recruiting scandal about 10 years ago.
It's not like they been bad, bad totally inept in 2 different conferences. Easily the worst team in any BCS conference. Even Duke has one good year every decade.

SO. With all the Head coaching vacancies around the country, And Ohio State being the only 2nd undefeated team at a premiere college. How many coach's on the Ohio State staff bail to become head coach's some where else. This is the only thing that worried me about an undefeated season. Loosing coaching staff. Possible loss of recruits.

I'd rather not think about this. I'd be really upset if we lost coach Herman and/or Warriner.

I actually don't think the Ohio State staff is going to lose anyone to head coaching vacancies. Now if we win the National Championship next year and our offense doesn't struggle at all...and if our defense plays well all season, we could lose people. But I think a lot of people are looking at this 12-0 season and the hiccups that we had on both sides of the ball as reason to not take our coaching staff, yet.

Colorado-well remember how the media dumped on them? Remember how their own faculty and administration dumped on them? Remember the strip club owner that supplied the strippers came out and told the media he did what he did? (supplying the ladies) After that spectacle I knew that they would have a hard time for years to come!
