That would be his recruiting season as schools will no doubt break out the full-court press as they look to lock up the budding prospect. To date he has offers from Akron, Cincinnati, Illinois and Pittsburgh as well as a slew of other schools showing interest.

That many of them are coming out of the Big Ten -- Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin are a few of the many looking at the Class of 2014 standout -- goes a long way with Henderson.

“I’m talking to a lot of colleges right now that haven’t offered me and that have told me they’ll offer me soon,” he said.

The school he thinks is ready to offer is one close to his heart as all indications are Ohio State should throw a scholarship his way. At least that’s what the 6-foot-3, 205-pound defensive end is hoping.

“That one right there would mean a lot to me,” Henderson said. “It’s the one I want.”

Henderson indicated he’d like to take an unofficial visit for the Michigan game on Nov. 24.

Henderson Completes Impressive Season............Shaker Heights (OH) junior defensive end Joseph Henderson made a name for himself last summer, when he impressed during several college camps and added offers. His play this season was strong and he is looking for more offers.
