Ohio State became the latest school to offer Moore, and they were instantly added to his favorite list.

Three-star linebacker Skai Moore (Davie, Fla./University School) was offered Tuesday night by Ohio State and will take an official visit to the school Oct. 20, according to University School coach Roger Harriott.

The offer was extended after a conversation between Moore and Ohio State assistant Stan Drayton.

“Ohio State has been interested recently and they offered Skai last night,” Harriott said. “They have already set up the official visit for the Purdue game.”

He's visiting next weekend (Oct 19th)...

I like this offer. He's under the radar but I think he'd be a good one.

Moore ‘shocked’ by latest offer................After picking up a big-time offer from Ohio State, 2013 linebacker Skai Moore expects his recruitment to take a bit longer than he originally expected. The University School (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) standout had pretty much been down to two schools, but the Buckeyes have unexpectedly come on the scene and have gone straight to the top of his list.

The offer was extended after a conversation between Moore and Ohio State assistant Stan Drayton.

“Ohio State has been interested recently and they offered Skai last night,” Harriott said. “They have already set up the official visit for the Purdue game.”

Moore has had a top three of Rutgers, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest for several months now. He will take an official visit to Vanderbilt this weekend to watch the Commodores as they play host to the No. 4 Florida Gators. Nonetheless, Harriott says Moore is now seriously considering Ohio State.

“Given the program’s situation and their success, Skai knows that he has to consider Ohio State,” Harriott said. “It could potentially be a great opportunity for him.”

In other news, Harriott said that ESPN 150 defensive tackle Maquedius Bain did not take his official visit Sept. 29 to Oklahoma because he did not have a test score on file with the NCAA. Harriott said Bain is going to take the ACT on Oct. 27 and will plan his officials after that.

Another University School standout, ESPN 150 wide receiver Jordan Cunningham, will take his next two official visits to Notre Dame and Stanford, with dates expected to be confirmed in the next couple of days.
