Eagles vs Browns
First game...
I think the Browns win a close one 24-20

I love my Browns but I don't think they have it in them. I'm still going to root it out for them but... faith is low until they can change it.

And Weeden is proving to be a wasted draft pick.... And in the mean time RG3 is making the Saints defense look like doodie... RG3 is 15/19 for 258 and 2 TDs so far... Weeden... 8 for 22, 80 yards and 3 picks... bench his ass and send in McCoy... at least with some more decent receivers McCoy can probably actually move the team...
Perhaps they should've pulled a double trade to grab RG3 at number 2, and then grab Richardson at 3, and at 22 we could've gotten a better O-Lineman, or even another CB to replace Skrine or Patterson because those two are far too inconsistent.

You can have Kevin Kolb. He's a WCO product and would fit in nicely.
Until he get's a injured in Week 4 and misses 5 games with a sore toe...

I give our defense a lot of credit though today... they're playing their tails off. 2 picks of Vick so far... they've done a nice job containing LeSean McCoy so far, and short of the big pass to Maclin that set up the TD, they've not been giving up a lot of big plays in the air...

I still don't get why weeden got drafted. I hope he does well but it just make sense drafting a 28 old rookie. McCoy never got the fair chance he deserved!

Maybe he'll get another chance? McCoy that is.
Weeden was drafted way too high for someone as old as he is. You could have had Russell Wilson if you needed a QB that badly. And Wilson WAS the 3rd best QB in the draft.

Make that 4 picks by the Browns defense as D'Qwell Jackson just got a pick 6 and as always the Defense and Phil Dawson's leg are keeping us in the game, lol. Browns lead 16-10 with 14 minutes to go.

There's a pretty solid chance as it looks today that Weeden will be the next in a long line of 1st round picks that have been busts for the Browns... unless he makes a LOT of progress really soon, people in Cleveland will be asking for him to get shipped off really fast.
