I think that's my favorite College Football promo commercial since the infamous blind date...
I'm taking my dad to his first game in the Shoe for his birthday... the Nebraska game....
and he better appreciate it, a pair of AA deck seats cost me $575 (I "cheated" and bought them in April or else I'd be paying well over $400 a piece now))
Seriously though, it's one of those sacrifices you gladly make when your dad, the man whose given you all he can in the world, is a big guy with two shitty knees, lol.

My dad took me to my first game when I was 13. It was the 76-0 massacre of Pitt that earned us the hatred of Mark May.

That would've been a helluva good game to be in the Shoe for... I do remember watching that on TV however... The ultimate middle finger cap-off to that game? David Boston's punt return TD with 7 blockers... maybe Mark May's hatred should be directed at his Alma Mater for putting a pile of suck team on the field that season, lol.
Funny anecdote though... my dad doesn't know he's going to the game yet, he just knows that he and I have a man-date for the day. He's always given me some good ribbings about the number of Buckeyes games I've gone to (at least 25-30 by now) since he'd never gone. My reply has always been "Shush it dad... you got to see Jim Brown go nuts in person as the Browns won the 1964 NFL Championship" lol.
