There hasn't been much doubt about Andrew Wiggins' position as the top player in the class of 2014. If there was, the 6-foot-7 small forward from Huntington (W.V.) Prep totally shredded it on Saturday. Easily the best player we saw all day, Wiggins was sensational in everything he did. Get out and finish on the break? Not a problem. Juice defenders off the dribble? Not a problem either. Now, the five-star sophomore's jump shot is coming in line and he's reached a level where he pretty much does whatever he wants, whenever he wants to do it.

SF Andrew Wiggins, CIA Bounce
18.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 62.6 percent FGs
The 2014 phenom more or less had it on cruise control the entire weekend and was almost too unselfish at times and still managed to dominate his competition.
CIA Bounce is the only undefeated team left in EYBL play and won its games in Hampton by an average of 16.8 points per game.
The 6-foot-7 wing is a world-class athlete and has all the tools to go with it, giving him the potential to be a transcendent-type talent.

Going undefeated in the EYBL is no small task. Then again the CIA Bounce are no normal team. Made up entirely of players who come from Canada (although most play high school ball in the states), the Bounce has stormed through EYBL competition while racking up a 14-0 record through three sessions of play.
Leading the way has been the nation's top player in the class of 2014, Andrew Wiggins. The 6-foot-7 wing from Huntington (W.V.) Prep has been a stud in league play and continuously does things that leave you shaking your head. Maybe the most important thing he does is always make up for any mistake he makes. When he takes a bad shot, he has a knack for finding the rebound. When he makes a bad pass, he almost always seems to come up with a steal on the other end. An elite athlete, Wiggins is also much improved as a ball-handler and shooting the ball with much more consistency. At his current stage of development, he looks like he'll ultimately develop into a jumbo-sized shooting guard. Wiggins doesn't typically discuss his recruitment, but is listing Kentucky, Florida State, Syracuse and others.

IS IT A TWO-TEAM RACE FOR THE NATION'S TOP SOPHOMORE, ANDREW WIGGINS?
For months, there has been talk that Florida State and Kentucky have the best shot at landing the No. 1 player in the 2014 Rivals50, and possibly the best player in the world regardless of class, Andrew Wiggins. As the Kentucky staff frequently checks in with the 2014 Huntington Prep (WV) small forward's coaches and has watched him play a number of times this spring, the defending national champions have a resume that speaks for itself. As John Calipari continues to bring in and develop NBA Lottery picks - John Wall, Tyreke Evans, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Anthony Davis - it will be tough for the young talent to turn down such a tempting destination. Florida State is the alma mater of Wiggins' parents, who both played sports for the Seminoles. Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton and staff know all about this and are recruiting him as hard as possible in order to keep the family tradition going. They may not breed NBA players like Kentucky, but the Seminoles old time staff has produced plenty of professionals including Al Thornton, Solomon Alabi and Toney Douglas. It is still early, but both schools are recruiting him the hardest. The third wheel may be the North Carolina Tar Heels, who continue to check in on him. Whether the top sophomore in the country goes to Florida State, Kentucky, North Carolina or any other school, he will still be a future pro and a very good one at that.

Andrew Wiggins is the best player in the land
Some had been quick to anoint Canadian import Andrew Wiggins as the best prospect in high school hoops regardless of class. At Rivals.com, we wanted to take some time before making that declaration. After watching the No. 1 player in the class of 2014 again in Las Vegas, there's no point in holding off any longer.
