Spring Practice Presser 3/13/2012
Some notes on today's presser:
*Said that Fragel, although a good kid, was not getting it done in the classroom. Called him out on it. And will have the best quarter he has had yet. Almost up to 300lbs.
*Hankins has been a competitor all off season. Looking forward to see what he can do.
*Told Dunn that if he went and visited SCum, he had better like it, cause there would be no schollie for him. Also said he visited the family after, and said they are a great family.
*Rod Smith and Carlos Hyde have stepped it up a notch and are competitors as well.
*Overall pleased with the teams work. These kids are willing to show how they can compete and are working hard.
*Jordan Hall can be great, and needs to show it on the football field. Meyer said he has had a great performance so far.
*When asked about the biggest need, he said skill position, aka WR. But said that Philly Brown, Jake Stoneburner, Evan Spencer, Chris Fields and Devin Smith have all done very well. Smith had underwent the biggest change on and off the field.
*FB and TE are two positions he is not worried about. The TE especially cause Stoney, Heuerman and Vannett have all done well.
*Darryl Baldwin had done very well so far with the position change. Was asked to switch last year, Baldwin said no, but when Meyer asked him this year, he said yes.
*Meyer cannot wait for Taylor Decker to get in soon. You could tell Meyer thinks this kid is gonna be special.
*Meyer also said that a lot of bodies look very different thanks to the rigorous training program.
If I forgot anything I apologize!

Mentioned a fullback 2TE formation... I like the sound of that!!
That leaves room for one speedy WR and a stud RB to take advantage of what I'd imagine will be some massive holes in the defense.

JT could talk for a minute and you would be like ,"what did he say?" But Meyer will talk 10 seconds and you know what he is talking about!

Hankins is going to be scary this year. I see a future 1st round pick in his future.

Meyer has us all so damn giddy about the season and the Urban Era......
I literally can't effin wait for the Spring Game and for the season to start....
I can't wait to see our new nasty O-Line....
I can't wait to see Braxton develop in our new offense....
I can't wait to see our playmakers emerge in the skill positions....
I can't wait to see at-least 8-10 frosh in the 2-deep.....
I can't wait to kill _ichigan.....
