i still think the punter should be in, his name isnt coming to me right now, but no way if you started from the start he wouldnt be included in the history of football. hell only true kicker in the HOF only made 65% of his kicks and only 17 of plus 50 yards,

When it comes to kickers give it another 5 or 10 years and Mort and Gary Andersen will probably be in...

Also the pure kicker you referred to is Jan Stenerud 1967-1985... while his stats aren't as impressive as more recent kickers, you have to remember that back then, kickers traditionally kicked straight away, Stenerud was one of the first foreign born kickers and a big part of the evolution of the game to using soccer style kickers.
