The awful colors, that corny song, their obnoxious fans, that dump of a stadium and the fact that UT is no longer an elite program IMO.
They fired an alum who coached their schools greatest player and won them a national championship, they then hire a coach in Lane Kiffin who is somewhat of a name because of his NFL experience and who is father is but then he bails on them after one season to take a better job at USC who was getting hammered by the NCAA.
They then hire Dooley after several other candidates tell them no. Dooley was simply hired because of his bloodlines. In no way was he qualified to coach a program like UT.
Now Butch Jones is at the helm and I really don't know what to think? He's a decent coach but can he keep up with the rest of the $EC with their relentless and shady recruiting?

Ok them firing fulmer was a smart move. The next two moves they made were not so good! Fulmer reminded me of cooper! Great recruiter but couldn't win the big one.

Fulmer won a national championship, Cooper didn't.

Yeah... but he did have Peyton Manning back then... yes I know Manning left after the '97 season for the draft, but the few years he was there it definitely helped in recruiting.

I agree with that. Which is why I never really thought much of Tennessee as a program. Other than the Manning years and a few years after that, what has Tennessee really done? They have 4 national titles with 3 of them being shared, they can't win big games (even when they had Peyton), no Heisman winners, and several recruiting violations.
