I'm glad he didn't end up at FSU. If he was unwilling to compete for a starting position, he wasn't meant for the Buckeyes anyway. Good luck to Josh though, probably the biggest recruit from my area since I graduated back in 2004. He has potential to be the Jake Long of the Big East.

So did anyone hear some of the comments JJ made about OSU?
First he said we were #3 on his list.
Then he said: "The big thing with OSU was they have a recruiting class called the Brew Crew I dont want to be part of someone else's name I want to make Josh Jenkins known."
Then: "One of their big points to me was that I'd get to play in the national championship every year, but honestly I don't feel like going to the national championship and losing every year."
He basically said that the constant texting from the Brew Crew was weirding him out and it began to bother him. Apparantly this kid doesn't like having friends.

I hate to hurt poor JJ's feelings, but 1. he didn't get started in the process early, so naming it after him would just be stupid and 2. we already have a player named Jenkins, so I'm afraid he'd have to share the name. Life is tough sometimes. You might want to wear a cup.
