Word had it that he is struggling with his decision because of the pressure from all sides. My take is that he is such a stand up kid he stays at WVU.
#1.) He knows what WVU is going through with traitors and all. Us Ohio State fans know how much of a warm welcome traitors get, (Charles Woodson et al.) He would be the #1 guy in the state of WV. The love he will get in WV is far greater than anywhere else.
#2) If he goes to WVU he is guaranteed to start immediately. At OSU he may not even be the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd best O-Lineman in his class(Adams, Brewster, Shugarts-All of which will, mark my words, be 1st and 2nd rounders in the NFL draft someday: Jenkins will be up there too)
#3) He tried to get things fired up while building friendships with all of those guys mentioned above in the formation of the block O(Jenkins was the late addition by concept after Kyle Long affirmed his committment to Baseball)
#4)Info from independent source:Josh's intentions have been known for a while and the other recruits backed off the pressure as seen at the Army All American bowl at which Josh layed low and was questioned afterward about his future as a Buckeye: He was most respectful, well mannered and quiet when answering the question and he didn't say much but his body language said everything: He will not be a Buckeye.
All of this was before the last visit by Tressel. It has to be very hard for Josh and I know Tressel let Josh know that Ohio State really wants him but will understand his committment to WVU. The X factor is Bollman. He is from Ashtabula as is Josh's mom. There is something that originates from "old school" ties that may be the X factor that makes being a traitor acceptable. Lets hope for the improbable but not hold our breathe.
In any case Josh Jenkins is one great kid with great character and whoever he chooses should embrace him as if he were there only recruit! Cause that is what he is going to feel like at WVU!

Bollman was with Josh and Family until 9:30PM last night. Says Josh will decide Wednesday between WVU and OSU.
