Official Dallas Cowboys thread
Post any Cowboys news/info here. I am a huge fan. Post love or hate I don't care but it should be relevant to the Cowboys.

They will never win another super bowl with Romo as their qb, or until Jerry Jones learns to back off and just be an owner.

Jerry does need to chill and be an owner. Not try to be the coach, gm, and owner. I don't think Romo's the answer either. Get Payton Manning please!!!

Bob-Dawg wasn't the player that Laurinitais and Hawk were.
He could've approached the all-time single season sack record if he didn't miss the final 2 games his Sr season. He was on a tear at the time, I think he had 8.5 sacks heading into Michigan and was killing OTs on the edge.
Anybody remember when he had 3 sacks against Sparty and was named B1G player of the week?
After that, he sacked Iowa's QB (Drew Tate?) and Iowa's QB got up off his ass and spiked the ball.
Bobby was on fire before he broke his foot.
Probably shouldn't have been the 18th overall pick, but mid-late 1st round was where he was projected.
It was pretty cool to sit in his living room and watch the Draft with him and his family. He thought he was heading to Miami with the 16th pick. That came and past.
When the Cowboys pick came up, the phone rang.
I got to hear Bill Parcells on speaker phone welcoming Bobby to his new home in Dallas. That was a very unique moment. There was about 30 of us there.
About 3 minutes later, the commish comes out and announces the pick on TV. The house erupted. Kiper had good words.
Party on from there on. Don't remember much after that...

Just think Romo will always get in his own way. Does good for about half the season and has either a meltdown, breaks a finger or rib. He's a semi-tough dude but would I want him to lead my franchise no, I put him on the same level as Mark Sanchez.

Cowboys=====Notre Dame. Legendary team with legendary players but are no longer relevant today. Dallas and Notre Dame are no longer America's team/program.
