2012 NFL Draft Discussion
The NFL season is winding down and the draft order is beginning to take form.
Many of the Scarlet Buckeye members are fans of different NFL teams.
Who do you want your team to take in the draft and are there any former Buckeyes that you would like to see your NFL team select in the draft to fill a certain need.
Here is a post from McKraut from another thread to get us started......

#3. Minnesota if Indy and St. Louis both lose, which is very likely.
#4 - #6. Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay. If the Browns lose, they need Jacksonville and TB to win to seal the #4 pick. If the Browns and Jacksonville end the same, Jacksonville gets the higher pick since Cleveland won the head to head game. If all three lose, then it's TB at 4 (loss to Jax), Jax at 5 (loss to Cle) and the Brownies at 6.
If all three win it gets really interesting because it could mean Miami and Washington also ending up at 5-11, and I don't even want to think of that headache, lol. That would move the Browns all the way down to #7 or #8, since we have wins over Miami and Jacksonville, and god only knows how it would shake out above the Browns. So the Browns will end up between 4th and 7th or maybe 8th in the Draft.

I would love to see the Browns take RG3, but if he's not available than Justin Blackmon would be great.
With the 2nd 1st-rounder, I'd like to see them get a good RB or O-Lineman.

Andrew Luck will be a pro bowl QB in a few years.

I think the Packers will be looking at an OLB to play opposite Clay Matthews and a safety. And as much as I hate to admit it, I wonder how long big Ryan Pickett will be around, so they may look for a big DE to take-over in a couple of years.
I don't know a lot of defensive guys that are coming out though, so I'll have to wait for the combine to pretent to be Packer GM.

I would love for the Browns to take Andrew Luck but no way will he be around by the Browns pick.

Diego,
I'm a Browns fan too, going off of the estimate that we will have about the 5th-8th pick, who do you want at that point in the draft and also with our 2nd 1st-rounder?

Awesome receiver. I liked him more than AJ Green or Julio Jones last year. But does he fit the Earie-Coast offense?

Either Richardson or Blackmon.

I think Blackmon fits ANY offense other than the wing-T or Jim Bollman's offense.
How might just be on the board when the Browns are up.
A. Luck, RG3, the OT from USC, and Trent Richardson among others will be attractive for teams in front of Cleveland.
