Andre Branch, DE Clemson
He has fewer disciplinary issues and a more solid work ethic than Quinton Coples. I see more upside in his raw potential as well... great motor, excellent edge rusher and good against the run, he would be a great piece to round out the D Line.
Morris Claiborne, CB LSU
A legit shut down quality corner to start in place of Sheldon Brown and opposite from Joe Haden.
Dre Kirkpatrick, CB Alabama
Just as good as Claiborne IMO, and would do very nicely to offset Haden as well.
Justin Blackmon, WR Oklahoma State
He's a game changer, great speed and a great route runner, he finds open space and gets to the ball very well... be great to have him as an option to throw to.
Riley Reiff, OT Iowa
Continues the tradition of great OT from the B1G, having him at RT would give the Browns O-Line a nice bit of nastiness and skill opposite Joe Thomas. MUCH better and more athletic player than Oneil Cousins.
1st Rd, 22nd pick:
Alfonso Dennard, CB Nebraska
While being my 3# choice of CB in this draft, Claiborne and Kirkpatrick will certainly be of the board at this point, so he's clearly the next best choice.
Alshon Jeffrey, WR South Carolina
Don't really have to say much about this guy, he has great hands and speed, good, clean route runner, prototype #1 WR size.
Melvin Ingram, DE South Carolina
This guy is a beast of a pass rusher and absolutely dominant on the edge, good against the run but can get better. With a little coaching and mentoring, he can become a very well rounded, elite DE.
Courtney Upshaw, OLB Alabama
Would add another dominant linebacker to play alongside D'Qwell Jackson and help shore up the run game, as well as provide and excellent addition to the pass rush.
Johnathan Martin, OT Stanford
I doubt a guy this good would drop to 22nd... but we'd be insane not to take him if we passed on Reiff at #4.
2nd Rd, 36th pick:
Zebrie Sanders, OT Florida State
Good solid tackle, good size, long arms, good hands and feet, not an elite OT, but a pretty darn good one, he'd be a big help shoring up the right side of the line.
Kendall Wright, WR Baylor
Wright may not have prototype size, but this kid's a pure speed demon with great hands and is very elusive. It we miss on Blackmon or Jeffrey it'll be a shame, but I'd take Wright over Floyd.
Nick Perry, DE USC
I doubt we're lucky enough to see Perry drop this far, but this is the draft and you never know how many teams are willing to take a leap and grab a guy way too high*. Another solid DE that would be a much need step up from Jayme Mitchell.
*(See Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow, seriously, he's a helluva competitor, but his level of talent should have dictated his being drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, certainly not in the 1st)

Good post Sarge..
I would love to see what Colt McCoy could do (I don't what the Browns to do this but for the sake of discussion) if we took Justin Blackmon with the 4th pick and Alshon Jeffrey with the 22nd pick, and RB Lamar Miller with the 36th pick (or Mike Adams).
The Browns are obviosly lacking in the skill position areas. This would sure that up real quick.
Miller and Hillis could make a great 1-2 punch out of the backfield..

I can't say I would be opposed to grabbing Blackmon and Jeffrey at all... those two along with Cribbs and Little in the slots would take our passing game up a couple notches immediately, maybe even enough that if we grab a good OT in the 2nd or 3rd round and grab Boom Herron in the 3rd or 4th round to be Hillis' back up punch... we could contend for the playoffs next year. Hmmmm. Hey Holmgren, Heckert, and Shurmur... read this post about what you should do, because us fans are tired of you schumcks and your draft pick trading, lol.

Cousins is atrocious, so they'll address that need within the first 2 rounds, but the line still does a decent job... We need WR more than an OG at this point, and there will still be great DE and CBs around in the 2nd through 4th rounds. If they took Blackmon and Jeffrey in the first and then took someone for one of the other positions of need in the 2nd through 4th rounds, I wouldn't entirely agree with that choice but I would be glad to see them finally being aggressive and going after some playmakers at the skill position we need it most.

You have my attention... However, to win in the NFL, you need a QB and good lines (offense and defense), the four final teams proved this. Blackmon is great, but he is an "icing on the cake" kind of player. We need milk and eggs right now.

It drives me crazy as a football fan and especially as a Bills fan when every year your fans want to draft a WR/HB/CB in the first round. ESPECIALLY HB...right now we have undrafted Fred Jackson who is outperforming first rounder CJ Spiller as we speak.
If I was a GM I would take the Belichick approach and reserve the 1st round pick for lineman unless you thought an adrian peterson type player became available. These big uglies on the D and O lines just are not available in free agency that often.
