Just for the edification of seeing what teams are really getting their money's worth and have the most freedom to pick up/trade for improvement...

For my argument about the Cavs future as a legit chance at contending in the next few years. Irving has made them into a legit .500 team, and with the 3rd highest amount of cap space, we may see the Cavs go after someone before this season's trade deadline or grab a big name free agent in the off season.

The Cavs are (6-7) and they've only played 4 honw games.


I could see them going 33-33 and getting the 7th or 8th seed in the East.


I'd like to see them trade for Andrew Bynum or Andrew Bogut and build around Irving and Thompson.


They could potentially trade Jamison, Varejao, and Boobie to the Lakers for Bynum. Interesting..
