So you think he is going to stay???

I think he has been nothing special this year. I expected a lot more out of him, and I think he kinda did too. Maybe this is his way of cashing in, thought the Bucks and the NBA was the way to go, but now not so sure he could make it there.

I honestly feel he is just not happy here. For whatever reason he has not meshed well with the team. Is it his fault? No but his play has not been exactly stellar either. I honestly could see him leaving for europe. He might feel it is a better option to improve his game over staying at OSU. Who would of thought that we might not even get to 20 wins? The first time thad has never been to 20 wins. Who knows though.

I honestly expected Koufos to stay at least another year. I was a little disappointed by his play this year.

I agree. Koufos' body and game is a year or two away from the NBA. He could make some very good money playing in Europe but he also could be a lottery pick in the NBA in a year or two. He probably will face better competition in NCAA basketball than in Eurpoe. The question he has to ask, is $5M in one season worth waiting a year and getting $30M gauranteed?

I believe he will stay bc no one grows up dreaming of playing in flippin europe. Plus I think u guys are a little hard on the kid. He's only a freshman and went 14.2 6.6 and shot 50% from the field. If he comes back next year we can expect 19 9 from this kid...Unless Mullens steals all his thunder lol.

Last night, just before the tip-off of the NIT championship, I saw Thad Matta lean in and talk to Kosta one-on-one for about 2 minutes. After that he smiled at him and shook his and gave him a pat on the back. It looked like a "goodbye" to me.

Maybe so! Maybe it was just a hey buddy no matter what it has been a pleasure going to battle with you! I hope you stay but if not pleasure all the same. Or Thad told him if he doesn't have a big game there will be no decision for him to make, thad will revoke his schollie! lol

Well as cincy said he is greek ya know. And he is being offered millions and millions of dollars of which are tax free. He could make more over there right now then in the NBA. It is a very good possibility.
