I main reason the XFL failed the first time was because the league was rushed to the finish line.

If they want this to succeed this time they need to plan everything better.

The first time I have seen McMahon and gimmick-free in the same sentence. This could be an interesting reboot though.

I think Vince has learned from his mistakes the first time. That's why it is not launching til 2020.

It will be interesting to see how NFL and ESPN try to bury it this time. It will be harder with the many different ways to provide the service now though.

I'm excited, I think it could work. Plus this gives us more football.

My response to NFL fans hating on xfl is that you have a league that analyst and other within league made it known it would be BAD for one of its teams (jags) to be in the Super Bowl

I think I know what’s going on here. Actually, I’ve seen that big blue “X” before. Did they think adding the stars would be a bit too noisy?

Well, there's no way in hell I'd watch a league of all white players. There's not enough Christian McCaffery's and Jordy Nelson's to make that watchable.

I think Vince McMahon saw that the ratings for NFL games dropped and he could benefit off of those viewers. Sorry to say, but only the most casual football fans are the ones who stopped watching. I highly doubt they are going to jump on board with this league. Maybe I'm wrong.

I have a feeling a lot those issues will be tinkered with by the time the league actually starts to run. Adds

I have no issue with rules not allowing guys with criminal records in their league............

Those type of things are considered in the real world when applying for a job...........

I will watch. I consider myself a football junkie but I have not watched a week of NFL football since about week 10........

Not sure why............just tired of the political statements, not knowing what a catch is anymore, rules set up to favor the offense, not allowing to hit pretty much the quarterback and any receiver, I could go on............
