I'd be okay with a loss if it weren't for the BS calls that swayed momentum. Targeting? Sure, whatever. I don't agree with it but officials are pretty garbage when calling it anyways so not surprised. That reversal of the catch/fumble/TD return? No excuse for it, that's a flat out terrible call. We had a great season but definitely have a nasty taste in my mouth going into the offseason.

How many fucking steps with the football do you need to take with the ball in your hands before it is a football move asses?

 

Dabo’s experience showed in the last few minutes. We looked like Oregon in the end ... We had the better team, and we’d completely squandered it.

This game could’ve easily been a blow out.

Time to rebuild for 2020.

You know that LSU is going to crush Clap. Because at least their QB will have the slightest threat to run the ball.

 

This Ohio State team might've been the closest thing I've ever seen on a CFB field to a pro team when it came to execution at all levels. Ryan Day has this program running like a machine, and it's a travesty that we don't get to see these players go up against LSU.

Our boys dominated in every aspect of this game, but Clemson took the W with some clutch big plays from Etienne and Lawrence.

I obviously don't want to diminish what they did with this victory, but I think everyone who watched that game knows who the better team was... Clemson was just better when it mattered.

Another year of "what could've been" for Buckeye fans ... What a shame.

 

Day had this team ready, they just did not execute at times. Jk dropped two touchdowns, the defense was non existent in drives to end both halfs.

I try not to blame officials, but it's hard when they make excuses like they did. That ball was.never bobbled before it was knock out, like they claim. If that was in the endzone it would have been a touchdown

 

This one really stings. Waking up today, I just feel like we got hosed by the refs.

Running into the kicker called roughing, the fumble called incomplete, the targeting call (although that was a good one)... It just felt like everything we did to gain momentum was stopped.

Hell, even the reviewed catch in the first drive. stopped us dead in our tracks. We ran a speed option to the left, and Dobbins was through the line with one defender to beat when they whistled it.

Add in Dobbins’ dropped TD, Dobbins getting tripped up inside the 5 on his second long run, KJ Hill’s phantom TD drop that hit him in the facemask, and our inability to convert a 4th and 2 when it mattered most at the end ....

Just so many opportunities. It feels like the Penn State game from 2015, where we completely dominated them and they got really lucky that they were able to capitalize on our mistakes.

 

SEC crew...hhhmmm...who will LSU struggle with...Clemson or the Bucks. My brother is a football official and after a discussion the day after the game...additional review(s) of the play was of opinion this was a fumble (Scoop and score, Bucks). Same discussion on blocked punt...should not have been roughing.
