Big junior day on tap.....................On Sunday, Ohio State will host its first big junior day of the winter as the Men's basketball team hosts Michigan. Get the inside word on which juniors are expected on campus.

    Rutgers players

With Schiano now gone to the NFL, will Meyer contact any Rutgers recruits?

    They have four 4-star recruits:

    Ath Leonte Carroo
    OL JJ Denman
    OL Chris Muller
    MLB Quanzell Lambert

I would love to see us go after Quanzell, he reminds me of a Lamar Woodley type of player... Doesn't shy away from contact, and meets ball carriers head on.

Sry for the scUM reference, but we haven't seen that type of aggression from our LB squads since '03. Hopefully, under Meyer, we'll lay the wood on our opponents!

I think hawk and carpenter were the closest thing we had to Wilhelm, Spiels, and the big Kat....

If U watch Laurinaitis, he was a great tackler, but he usually sat back and allowed the runner to come to him.

I think rolle and freeman were a bit more aggressive @ the point of attack.

ps. I forgot about Shazier, he might be the most aggressive LB we've had for in a while. Hopefully he can continue to improve and be our Brandon Spikes over the next 2-3 seasons!

Bob-Dawg wasn't the player that Laurinitais and Hawk were.

He could've approached the all-time single season sack record if he didn't miss the final 2 games his Sr season. He was on a tear at the time, I think he had 8.5 sacks heading into Michigan and was killing OTs on the edge.

Anybody remember when he had 3 sacks against Sparty and was named B1G player of the week?

After that, he sacked Iowa's QB (Drew Tate?) and Iowa's QB got up off his ass and spiked the ball.

Bobby was on fire before he broke his foot.

Probably shouldn't have been the 18th overall pick, but mid-late 1st round was where he was projected.

It was pretty cool to sit in his living room and watch the Draft with him and his family. He thought he was heading to Miami with the 16th pick. That came and past.

When the Cowboys pick came up, the phone rang.

I got to hear Bill Parcells on speaker phone welcoming Bobby to his new home in Dallas. That was a very unique moment. There was about 30 of us there.

About 3 minutes later, the commish comes out and announces the pick on TV. The house erupted. Kiper had good words.

Party on from there on. Don't remember much after that...:cheers2:
