^^^ Yea but his Dad was a Tsun alumni, I could understand that!

But I think he has clearly stated the downfall of the tsun program! I hope more people grow up and strap on a pair of balls, and say/do the same thing. They have become an embarassment to Bo! And that is sad to see, since it reflects on us as well.

Assuming he didn't redshirt already, then yes.

I'm sure it's going to be tough for Gary Moeller and Lllllloyd Carr to watch what happens to their program over the next few years. I'm guessing after this failed experiment they bring in Jim Harbaugh as their Head Coach.

I wouldnt mind picking him up not having to give him a schollie. And then let his brother commit also. I am sure it has to be hard on their parents. RR is just a punk.

I doubt harbaugh would even be given a shot after the comments he made about their academics.

I hope Lloyd does something about it!

I was actually thinking the opposite. I was guessing that bringing Harbaugh in would be a sign that they were willing to clean up their academics.

I'm very happy that Michigan will be losing their best center. I am not thrilled about the idea of Boren playing for Ohio State. I expect Mike Brewster to play center in 2009 - 2011. I'm not really keen on the idea of picking up transfers, whether from Junior colleges or that school up north.

i'm of the opinion that coaches should be teaching all of the linemen each position. i mean, they are the "smartest" of the group when it comes to determining defensive schemes and playing off of them. they make the calls that determine the flow of the plays. why not have Boren here?? just as QB's and 'skill position' players have different looks, why not throw off the defenses by changing up the line as well?? consistency of blocking may be an issue, but if there were specific drawn-up plays with different line schemes, i think it would confuse some defenses. IDK, just a thought.

Isn't tsun pretty much a juco now that Dick Rod's there? We did get 2 good years out of Larry Grant who was a juco. Also Anthony Schlegal was a transfer. Granted, you're not going to have character issues out of someone from a service academy.

I think right now O-line is the last thing we need. Plus who wants former scUM to don the S&G anyways.

i seriously doubt he would sabotage anything. maybe he just realized that "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em".

It would still feel weird/uneasy having him join our team when he played for our arch rival last season.

The way I see it. He had his chance to play for us but he chose otherwise.

I agree with Scarlet, I only want players on our team that have no doubt that they want to be buckeyes. I definitely don't want someone who chose scUM and bailed out because they suck so bad.

I'm sure IF he came to us he'd be out to prove himself as loyal, but like you guys say, do we want him. We do have a lot of offensive linemen.

hey religious people are always trying to draw people to their religion. you wouldn't tell someone who has decided to practice your faith that they cant just because you didnt like their previous religion. if boren wants to be a buckeye, then let him...(He has seen the Light:biggrin:) if he starts to wear tsun shirts and things of that nature, then we would have a problem

I feel the same way kinda, but with a brand new coaching staff at TSUN, it wouldn't worry that much. I think he does come to tOSU.
