Nits No Match For No. 4 Buckeyes...................Ohio State piled up its most total yards ever against a Big Ten opponent, and Penn State surrendered more points than it had since 1899 as the fourth-ranked Buckeyes raced out to a 42-7 halftime lead and then coasted home Saturday night with a 63-14 victory over the Nittany Lions.

Those days are history. Meyer isn't lifting his foot off the gas anytime soon.

He disputed a spot of the ball as the third quarter wound down. The ruling on the field granted Penn State a fourth-down conversion. Meyer's challenge -- the Buckeyes led, 56-7, at the time -- reversed the call and switched possession of the football to Ohio State.

When asked about Meyer's decision to challenge the spot, Penn State coach Bill O'Brien stared ahead for about five seconds before declining comment.

The Buckeyes' 63 points were the most by a Penn State opponent since Duquesne -- then known as the Duquesne Athletic Club -- scored 64 in 1899.

Maybe Meyer meant to make a national statement. Maybe he didn't.

The 49-point win might get lost among the shuffle of blowouts compiled by the likes of Alabama, Florida State and Oregon this season. It doesn't appear, however, as though it will be forgotten by the Nittany Lions.

"They'll put it behind them," O'Brien said of his players. "We'll remember some things."

In the Big Ten, it's Urban Meyer's Buckeyes … and everyone else. There's no one capable of staying with this team for 60 minutes, not in this conference. Ohio State has won 20 straight (Meyer has yet to lose) and with its speed and depth, I believe the Buckeyes will only get better in November. This team can play any style and win. Ohio State is going to be a tough matchup for anyone.

O'Brian was pissed about Bosa "slamming" Hackenberg to the ground on the dead ball false start play...

He's blaming Hackenberg's shoulder injury on that play...

    As Obie would say....MAN UP!
