    Game 10 | 11/3/07
    Ohio Stadium
    Columbus, OH

12:00 PM ET on the Big Ten Network

    #21 Wisconsin (7-2, 3-2)
    vs.
    #1 Ohio State (9-0, 5-0)

Coming off of a huge road victory at Penn State we must avoid the hang over from this win. We need to come out strong and firing on all cylinders because we all know Wisconsin will be primed and ready to give us their all.

If our defense continues to play like they have been all season long and we don't allow turnovers on offense I think our chances of winning are very good.

Now, your thoughts on this game?

Get pressure on Donovan and don't let Beckum out of your sight. Wisky will likely abandon the running game early, so PJ Hill shouldn't be a factor other than just blocking.

    tOSU - 42
    Wisky - 13

Yeah that is weak. You think it has to do with Wisky not being as good as everyone thought they'd be by this point in the season?

Oh no, it's at noon!! Crap...Sun in my face all game long  Unless it's cloudy

(My seats are on the west side of the stadium. So 3:30 games I can see perfectly. But noon games are hard to see when the sun is shining)

Yeah, but this time of year you want to be in the sun. The people in the shade are going to be a bit chilly.

Im going with Ohio State-34, Wisconsin-10

I can't wait, beacuse we are going to break the BigTen Network for most consecutive BigTen wins!!! I hope that Beanie gets over 150 yards and 2 TDs and that we play action all game long. It works almost every time. I love that play!

Wisky is so not an obstacle if you ask me. They have barely been winning games all season long and now their luck has run out. Not to mention that the Buckeyes are on a roll and will more than likely still have the momentum from the entire season boosting their confidence and we should win this fairly easily. =]

with they way Penn st RB ran in the early stages of the game, they may try to get PJ Hill going early...like Penn st we need to get on them pretty quickly.

i believe Penn st RB had about 46 yards at the end of 1Q.

Anyhow just like any other game Boeckman needs to play well..limit the turnovers.

this game will be interesting. wisconsin has been up and down all season. i am sure they will get up for the game. one thing i think we have in favor is our offense has confidence right now. you could tell the whole game against penn st. boeckman is not flashy but he gets the job done. i sense the defense was upset for how many yards they gave up against penn st. it wouldn't surprise me to see them step it up a little bit for this game. the biggest thing for this game is keep the crowd into it. cause no turnovers and i hope we get that kickoff coverage taken care of.

I have never seen a td given up by our special teams before this season. That aspect needs CONSIDERABLE improvement. Now I'm always nervous to kickoff. I feel like someone is going to take it back everytime... =\

I can't remember a year when we gave up 2 or more kick off returns for TDs.

Look at our defense's of the last 3 seasons. 1st Round draft picks, all-americans, and top 3 statistically in at least 2 categories, but have only managed 1 or 2 shutouts. So many little things like KO returns or TO's returned for TD, or bs safeties ruin what should be many many shut-outs for Ohio State in the last 3 seasons. KO's may be the most annoying, especially late in the game like Saturday night.

I say we go big on Wisky. Donavan throws 2 INTs, Hill gets shut down, and Beanie has a big day.

    OSU- 44
    Wisconsin- 10

The last return I can remember was Charles Woodson in 1997.

In the beginning of this season I was a little nervous heading into this game, because I was unsure about our WRs after losing Ginn, Gonzo, and Hall to the draft. And I was unsure about Todd. But, now I am not nervous at all about this game. I see us in this game going out and returning the openin kick for a TD and putting a pounding to Wisconsin the rest of the game!

I go to an alumni bar in Times Square to watch the games. For the last 2 Buckeye games on the BTN, they had problems with the satellite reception and we missed most of the first quarter.

More reasons to hate the BTN:

they don't show highlights of other games in progress; constant lame BTN commercials shown on an endless loop (like the one with the flag on the garage door); no replays of big plays; lame announcers; no Erin Andrews on the sideline

The Reception was bad in the whole area cause I was at another bar in NYC watching the KSU game and it was down as well. My only recommendation my friend is to check out Blondies up at 92nd and 2nd avenue. The crowd is more amped up than at Tonic and the Wings are great, and the beer is always reasonably priced

How is the scene at Blondies this year? Is it still packed since the "official" party moved to Tonic? I went to The Big Easy (next to Blondies) the last 2 years. The place is a dump but the crowd was crazy.

Tonic is a little too family friendly. I got some cold looks from the staff and patrons at the Purdue game at Tonic when I bought a bunch of shots at halftime and started getting rowdy. I mean, it's F*&%ing Big Ten Football brother!

Maybe I should head to Blondies East for the Wisc. game. Do you need reservations?
