Yep...........getting paid also..............I will never watch this program considering a group of ineligible players beat our Buckeyes in the 1992 regional final............

That loss hurt real bad. Started the downfall of the OSU Bball program in the 90s.

HOWEVER, when the Villain hit that shot last year in the Big Ten tourney, I was like, "See wolverwine fans, this is what is was like for us in the 90s. Hurts don't it?"

The Fab Five did not win one championship.............why do people think they were a great team? You have to win something in my book to be considered a great team.

Baggy shorts and trash talk is not the mark of a great team................

Because 5 freshman took a team to, and won a game in a Final 4. Take everything else away, and that's what it comes down to. That just didn't happen in 1992.

They also were the start of a new generation of basketball players (whether you like said generation or not), and exposed some of the black culture to white America.

Jordan was the start of a new generation of basketball players. Not the fab five.

BS. America was well aware of the black culture by that time. What seperated them was the fact the college they played for, let them wear baggy shorts and talk an insane amount of trash while not winning a single championship and taking a huge amount of money from Michigan boosters. They were nothing more than young kids who broke NCAA rules and apparently thought black players that played at Duke were "uncle toms".............they took money, and they do not apologize for it.................

No one remembers teams who lost the championship game, just the team who won.

Besides, its Michigan....................I give them no respect.

You are right, white people did know that there were black people in 1992... but for goodness sakes, a great deal of white america has no feel for black culture today.

That's funny, I'm still waiting for the prime time documentary on the teams that beat the Fab Five.

I'm not asking you to respect them. I know better than to try to change your mind. You asked a question, and I gave you an answer that is considered common accepted knowledge outside of Columbus and maybe Ann Arbor.

You know whats even more hilarious...............waiting for a documentary on the "Fab Five" that isn't produced by members of the "Fab Five" and is a complete documentary of their impact on college basketball...........the positive and the negative they left behind.

20 + years and it took Jalen Rose to do the documentary?

i liked watching the documentary. in the end it showed the players true colors of:

    1) how dumb they actually could be to call a timeout in a NCG and some how get accepted into michigan. one of the hardest academic schools to get into in the nation.

    2) how racist some of these guys truly were and still are.

    3) and how they were just a bunch of thugs who had talent and pissed it away with their self centered egos!!

in the end the banners sit in a storage room and the documentary pointed out how the fab 5 were just an epic fail!!
