Hello fellow Buckeyes. Does anyone know if we have a recrutiment class that includes ranked receivers, running backs and corners?
Thanks for the invite Thanks Hollis. To date I have not heard any response except yours to my inquiry regarding the Bucks recruitment. I have been a Buckeye fan since 1967when I first arrived in the great state of Ohio from California. Now due to job placement, I unfortunately live in the miserable state of Michigan and as you may have guessed, it is like trying to find a needle in a haystack when trying to obtain information about what is going on with the Buckeye sports programs. If it were not for cable programming alllowing me to choose the Big Ten Network I don't think I would ever see any Buckeye games or hear any news concerning them. For some reason here they won't even mention our name much on TV. The usually just say, "that other team." What a bunch of morons. Can't to see what Urban brings to the table so we can once again show our superiority over those worthless Wolverines. :happy:

Record this year How many games are we expected to win this year? I hope all of them so we can shut up the nay sayers:biggrin:
Wins I forecast that both MSU and Wisconsin will be a win for us. MSU because they no longer have an offense, especially at the QB position, and Wisconsin because they lost their illegally obtained QB Russell. Now let's see what they can do. The only bump in the road with them may be that we are playing them at their stadium and they can get pumped up.:sad:
What do we look like? Trying to get some Buckeye info on what we look like for coming out of the gate the first 4-5 games or so. Anybody heard whether or not some of the Penn State starters have decided that the Buckeye Nation is the place for them? That would add fuel to the fire. I cannot wait to see what we look like. I have to see that, maybe it is because I am such a Buckeye fan, but I feel we have a real good chance of actually blowing a lot of teams out of the water.:suprised:
Welcome to the site! As for adding any of the Penn State players for this year, Ohio State can't because it is still on probation for its penalties that they committed. Other teams like USC can't as well because of being on said probation. For the first part of the schedule before B1G Ten play, I'm just as excited as you are and can't wait to see this team in action! I don't even know what we will look like, but like many I hope for more offense and a relentless pass rush. And with the toughest game being CAL, we could get off to a very nice start to the season
Actually all sanctioned schools (tOSU included) can accept any Penn St transfer but they cannot exceed scholarship limits.
Okay. I think we will do alright without them really. We just have to forget about last year and play each game like the other team stole from us.:biggrin:
In response to this correspondence posted in my box stating, "Hey csanctify it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to make a new thread in our Football Talk forum, or ask a question in our vast Recruiting section? By all means, lets beat That Team Up North today!" No one ever answers or responds to any of my post. I thought that this would be somewhere Buckeye fans could exchage information about the team they love. I guess I was wrong since I have made a number of posts, asked several questions with the intent of getting some feedback, which never happened. So, I have been relying on getting information from the Bleacher Report, television media, and the Big Ten Network TV channel. :cry:
csanctify, I'm going to try to tread carefully here. Please do not take this as a personal attack, just some helpful advice. There are frequently people who come on and post things and complain that nobody responds or interacts with them. That's not how this place works. It's not your blog for us to comment on. This is a discussion forum. If you want interaction, try reading what everyone is talking about and commenting there. Then we'll interact with you. If you start a topic, try to make sure it's not something that isn't already being discussed in another thread and then take it with a grain of salt if it's not responded to. It could be for a variety of reasons. It could be that nobody's interested in what you had to say. Sorry. that happens sometimes. It could also be that it was posted right before a flurry of recruiting news or something like the Hyde/Roby incidents recently and it got buried under "more important things". I myself have started countless threads that got 0 responses. No worries. One thing is true and will never change. We are not out to shun anyone or to bully anyone. We might poke a little fun at you, but it is always meant in jest. If we don't respond to you, it's not a personal attack. Just keep coming back and discuss things in the main forums. If you do that and establish a rep, then we might be more likely to notice or read something that you post elsewhere. Hell, we all read Sarge's long un-football related rants, didn't we? So you can choose to be cool. Relax. Fit in with the community. Or you can go the way of Buck 68, CraftOSully and jn25code. Your choice. I hope you stick around.
