Granted it was pre-season and doesn't count on the record, but it was a DII team. Again Findlay was the 5th ranked DII team in the country so they are no slouch, but it is a DII team...

I'm sure Coach Matta will have the boys ready for the regular season and hitting on all cylinders come Big 10 time but man this one hurt.

My one concern is... where is Jon Diebler? This kid was supposed to light up the scoreboard as soon as he stepped into the gym with his glowing resume, so far after 2 exhibition games, he has hardly made a dent. Butler as the senior is doing everything he can but cut off his arm to get the team going, Koufos is ok, but the rest of the freshmen and the team needs to step up at some point.

Trust me when I say this. This is not as big of an upset as you think in basketball. I go to most of findlays games and they are an awesome group of guys. Coach Niekamp can recruit VERY well. Sure its a Division 2 team but its also preseason. I am positive they will get the season turned around.

Diebler made atleast 4 3's last night. Our problem last night was rebounding. We just couldn't do it for some reason. And Findlay shot real well from behind the arc. Thad also ran so many guys in an out nobody could get into a groove, but he is just preparing them for the regular season.
