AS THE WORLD TURNS!!!! this is a soap opera. Goes from doubtful to game time decision to out. I will believe it when I see him in street clothes. Not only that they were reporting he was better today!

Guys, on the bright side, and trust me I hate to take comfort in anything Herbie has to say, because I think he has to dis us just to look credible, which he is ... but anyway, if any of you guys missed it, he went to the closed scrimmage in preseason, and went on and on about TP, and he wouldn't say anything about him until he saw him but he was floored with him once he did see him, said he never seen a guy pick up 20 yards just like that. Then, he went on, and he has a man crush with Boom Herron, just when I thought he was giving all the props to TP, he went crazy over Boom.

So anyway, this is BOOMS BIG CHANCE.

    Go Buck!

Shit. Here it goes, backs against the wall. This is what we feared.

If Todd is going to prove he's legit and Pryor prove he's the real deal, here is their chance. Biggest stage, biggest game, brightest lights.

Am I the only one that's just disappointed with Beanie.

Hold on before you guys wanna get on me cause of that.....I was so pumped to witness a magical season from him. Not necessarily undefeated NC type business but just watching an elite RB for a full year. It's a tough position on your body and its grueling and no, I obviously could not do it myself....but he is just too injury prone. I'd love to say, make us proud next year but he's just not gonna make it in the pros because of that..

I know no one wants to hear that....

I am worried about Beanie because I have seen this before. This is one of those things that wil bother him all year, and I worry that we will get our hopes up every week and may not see him. Hopefully they are holding on to him for the Big Ten season (esp. Wisconsin), but you have to wonder. Let's hope for the best!

As much as we don't like this name, it reminds me of Maurice Clarett and that "stinger" that hampered him throughout our NC run in '02

For this season, but I don't see him going pro after this year now. He already wanted to stay for four years, now it may actually end up being the smart choice. If he doesn't prove he can stay healthy for a full season nobody will want him in the pros.

More than just him not winning, now we're forced to root for someone like Chase Daniel to keep Tebow from repeating.

It would certainly be in his best interest if he stayed for his senior season. Not to mention it would also help us tremendously.

Beanie reminds me so much of Adrian Peterson. He is incredible when he is healthy, but he's always getting hurt. Peterson was still drafted high, and so will Beanie especially if he tears it up in his Senior season.

A lot of fans of other teams are saying the same thing on other boards.

I'm sort of torn here. Every game that Beanie sits out is disappointing. However, on the other hand, every game that he mises makes it more likely that he will stay on the team for the 2009 season. I have to think that every NFL draft board has him sliding further down with a question mark next to "durability."

I've had the same thoughts, and have felt incredibly selfish for having them.

Regardless, he'll still go in the top 10. Many people thought he would go almost that high if he could have left LAST year. He's one of the most NFL-ready players at his position.

O.K. Beanie will see the field but:

    1) will Beanie start? and

    2) will Beanie be effective? do you think he will be better than 75% healthy?

This could be like the Kent State game last year where Beanie started and played a little, but only took a few handoffs and ran in a short TD and then left the game quickly.

    Hopefully not though.
