That's not a good way to start your career off at Ohio State. I don't get it.

Unbelievable. I just can not understand why he would put himself in that situation. I mean you are the backup qb for a top 10 program in the nation. And on top of that the starting qb is not pulling away from you. I understand he is a kid but come on. There has to be a better way to go about this.

What kind of discipline would he be facing?

I hate to hear this guys. I feel insulted by this. I am guessing I can feel that way since I live breath and dream everything Buckeye. This is a blackeye for us. He left his home with the intention of breaking the law, and putting the school at risk. I am thinking Tress should make a statement and kick him off the team. Keep the scholarship and get the education, just not have the priviledge to be a Buckeye anymore. I know it sounds harsh, but things are going well, and we didn't need this selfish act. I know arguments can be made looking back, what if they kicked Troy off etc. But I feel things are diffrent now, and besides, let's say we get Terrel Pryor, Henton would be stuck looking in from the outside anyway.

What a bummer, but this is a chance to stomp it out from the get go and make sure everyone understands how to act like a Buckeye and what will happen if you don't.

Well tressel has suspended him and will not allow him to travel with the team. I think this is the right thing to do. I know it is only a misdemeanor but he has to be held accountable. Judging by how embarrassed he looked in court he is sorry this happened. Now he needs to step up and take accountability. If he takes accountability then I can see tressel letting him back after 4 or 5 games. He made a stupid decision. I hope he learns from this mistake.

    So this got me thinking.

Is Bauserman still there? I haven't heard anything. I kind of guess Tress would make him earn his way up, the hard way by watching a year, but does this make room for him to come up in the rotation?

Yes he is still here. He has now moved into the number 3 spot. Tressel said he is looking good for not playing football for 3 years. I would love to see him get some mop up time on saturday to see what he is about. I really don't think robbie is the answer.

That is what cracks me up. I mean when I lived there I had no problem finding women. And I was never a football player. And he is only 20. My god how great those years were.I mean he is a backup qb for an elite college fb program. Women love that.

I agree about suspending him for a few games as I think that's very appropriate. He made a stupid decision in doing that and he should be held accountable. I do think he deserves a 2nd chance like everyone should therefore kicking him off the team would be too harsh in my opinion.

I heard Tress on his press confrence today about Bauserman. I hope to see him too. I agree, I don't think Robbie is a solid back up, he seems to throw @ peoples ankles.

Stuff like this makes me want to buy a new jersey instead of the #7 I have now. The kid just wanted to get laid, but it's still a crime no matter what. This isn't as bad if he robbed someone or something, but in the eyes of Buckeye Nation it's still a crime.

I agree, he looked ashamed beyond belief. I think he rebounds and becomes a true Buckeye.

Another turn-around story in the making? I think so.

I podcasted it from 1460. He was just really dispointed. Said he'll make sure he gets any help he needs, but for now he is suspeneded indefinetly.

I'm no lawyer, but here is what confused me...

Antonio Henton, a third-string quarterback for the Ohio State football team, pleaded not guilty in Franklin County Municipal Court this morning on a misdemeanor charge of soliciting for prostitution.

If you got caught red handed by an undercover cop on a sting operation, why is he pleading not guilty? Again I am admittedly ignorant as to the legal ramifications of all this, but why not just fess up and say you were guilty to the misdemeanor, accept the penalty and go on with your life. Now by pleading not guilty, doesn't he just prolong this ordeal into a legal battle and court dates and lawyers get involved?

Yeah, you know, it reminds me of when a friend of mine got a speeding ticket. I was in the car, he was clearly guilty, he fought it. It went from Worhtington mayors court, he lost, apealed it and it went to Franklin county, only to disapear in the system.

Anyway, I agree, it's not like this will go away. Just get it over with. Move on, repent whatever, do some community service, some good deeds and work your tail off to get back in the good graces of Tress.

Usually by pleading not guilty he has time to seek an attorney. Also what happens it is will get plea bargained down. Usually for first time offenders of solicitation they will have an oppurtunity to do community service and not have it go on their record. That is if they have never been arrested before.
